  • What does biodiversity mean to you?
    • Biodiversity is a variety of life in an ecosystem or a particular habitat that provides a balance between systems. Biodiversity ensures that the environment stays sustainable by ensuring that there is a variety of species who can depend on each other.
  • What do you feel is the biggest obstacle you face when wanting to make a change?
    • The biggest obstacle we face when wanting to make a change is having a "loud" enough voice to face the opposition. When it comes to creating action to help the environment things are often easier said than done, in countries such as Canada itself, there are many capitalist beliefs, and many goals that come before environmental stewardship, so to find a group of people who have a similar mind set and who have the funds and time to make a change can be difficult.
  • How does our personal history affect the way we view sustainability and the environment?
    • The more a person is forced to interact with the environment may impact their need to help ensure the environment is sustainable. If a person spends a minimal amount of time in the outdoors, they may not care about the state of environment surrounding them, but if a person spend a majority of their time in the outdoors, they will want to make sure that their environment is clean and taken care of.
  • We are located on the land of the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nations
