November 4: Natalya Brodie

Oct 23, 2019 by Rachael Bell-Irving

I lead government relations at the Ocean Wise Conservation Association (Ocean Wise). Ocean Wise is situated on the traditional territory of the Squamish, Musqueam and Tsleil-Waututh people. I am responsible for drafting strategy for our engagement with all levels of government and with our Indigenous partners. My role focuses on educating government officials and parliamentarians on the important conservation work our organization carries out, as well on identifying government funding for our programs. Prior to this role, I led a provincial agency responsible for government’s appointments to all public sector boards, agencies, commissions and administrative tribunals in British Columbia.
