The Watershed - Calgary Alberta - Robert Thirsk High School - Camille

The Bow river begins at the Bow glacier and ends in South Saskatchewan River, which leads to Lake Winnipeg, which goes into the Nelson River finally finishing in the Hudson's bay.

The Bow River and the waterways it connects to so it finally reaches the oceans goes through Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Wow! Can't believe waste can go all the way from someones house to a totally different body of water.

The North Saskatchewan River in Edmonton goes through a similar path, it's crazy how far our water travels and that it is constantly being recycled naturally. This makes it so much more important to keep our water clean so our pollutants from Alberta don't end up all the way in the Atlantic Ocean.
